Get to know Sandra Ingram, our incredible AM Prep Cook at Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, Missouri. Sandra joined the Pedestal Foods family in 2021, and we are blessed to have her kindness and organizational skills on our team.

Hi, Sandra! 

What is your role on the Pedestal Foods team at Lindenwood University? 

I’m the morning prep person. I prepare the sauces, side dishes, and proteins every day.

What do you love about your job?

I love interacting with my coworkers and all the smiles from my friends and the students here.

What’s the most challenging part of your job? 

Prepping can be a challenge because you have to use your ingredients wisely to make sure you have enough of everything to complete the job.

What would people be surprised to learn about you? 

I’m super organized.

What does “Be a Blessing” mean to you, personally and/ or professionally?

Helping other people.

What’s the most important thing you’ve learned in this position?

Time management and being present in the moment.

What’s the most important piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Stay focused on God and don’t worry about the current situation.

If you could be a teacher of something, what would it be?

I would teach about God’s faithfulness.

What five words would your colleagues use to describe you? 

Ambitious, cheerful, personal, meticulous and peaceful.

What is something you can do better than anyone else you know?

Organize just about anything.
