What do you love about your job? What’s the most rewarding part?
It’s just a great atmosphere here with the students. We make great food, and I enjoy being a leader.
What’s the most challenging thing about your role?
Getting a crowd of people to get the food out in a timely fashion.
What’s the most important piece of advice you’ve ever received?
I learned this from a student, actually – to stay real in being myself.
What five words would your colleagues use to describe you?
Lovable, humble, fair, challenging, team player
What’s a new skill you would like to learn, or existing talent/ interest you’d like to develop further? How do you want to grow?
I’d like to keep improving my cooking skills to get to the executive chef level.
